These are three examples of the photography I did in 2013. Here I had almost mastered how to use lighting to create beautiful portraits.Although sometimes the sun is hard to work with like in the third picture from prom.

These are three more examples of portrait photography that I did in 2012. In these I had a better understanding of how to use the lighting around me for the best quality pictures. I did not quite understand editing to look natural.

This was one of my first tries at Photography in 2011. Lighting and keeping the correct skin tones were some of the things I struggled with.

Since this is my first post on my blog, I will take this opportunity to tell you about me and why I am doing this. I'm Rachel Bowman and I am a senior at Alexander Central High School. In our senior year we have to complete a research paper and make a product about whatever we research. I have had an interest for photography since my freshman year in high school. When I chose to research photography for this project I knew it would be a great opportunity for me to learn more about something I love. I hope to continue to use my passion for photography after my high school career. I am hoping this blog will be a way for me to keep all of the photographs I love and share them with others.
